Lights & Reflection

Testing with lighting effects and reflection. Here I employed a professional model (pretty expensive fee, joking) to pose for the test shots below.

Studio Photography

I had been really busy for the last 2-months with the setting up of our photography studio. As all 3 of us are new with Studio Photography, we literally have to ask around and did a lot of research here and there. After working on it for more than 2 months, I am just glad that we managed to get the studio set up and ready to go. Here are some test shots from a 50mm lens on a Canon 40D taken with our lighting set.

Ballerina

I was engaged to photograph these young pretty things doing their footwork for a dance academy school. They are really sweet to work with and are very cooperative.

EOS Experience Seminar

Conducted at Merdeka Palace & Suite Kuching, this is an experience seminar by Canon Malaysia for their canon users. However, I did find a lot of Nikon players around too. Briefing by the speakers were nicely done and simple, however the starting time was a little too early, from 8am and ended at 5.30pm (with food and drinks provided, then food and drinks again, and again). Canon is not only offering you a camera body with all the lenses available, they are offering their customers a solution, right from taking quality pictures, to processing and finally the prints all with the Canon products (what I learned today). It is definitely a wonderful experience to have, and the things I still have to learn is to shoot like how they are shooting, haha. Here're some of the pics I had taken today.

Photography Competition Day 2

As you can see, the angle's different as promised but sad to say these are the pics taken from yesterday. Did not make it to the photo shoot today as I had to stay back home to take care of my Prince Charming pictured below.
