Semenggoh Wildlife

Went to the above to try to catch a few shots of the Orang Utan but too bad it was sleeping (the caretaker I mean, not the orang utan). Part of the park was closed so I just went around the forest habitat to snap some of the attached pics down below.
Feeding time of the Orang Utan is 10am & 3pm daily, and entry is charged at RM3.00 per person.

Girls' Things

It's something that every girl would be looking forward to own. There has been a lot of jewellery outlets sprouting throughout Kuching in the recent years, specialising in White Gold, Diamonds and other precious stones. Mind you, it's pretty heavy on the wallet though.

St. Patrick's Cathedral, Melbourne

I was really awed by this magnificient structure. It was really a beautiful church in downtown Melbourne. His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, successor of Saint Peter, confirmed the faith of his brothers and sisters by his prayerful visit to this cathedral on 28th November 1986.

Vintage or not?

Spotted this Green Classic on the road in Victoria, Australia. Thought it was a nice looking car and decided to share it with you all.

Photo Shoot Outing (Continued)...SPLIT SECOND

Continued from my last posting, here're the combo shots of a beast feasting. One would be able to observe the feasting on a twice-daily basis at around 11am & 3pm. This is the crowd puller event at Jong's Crocodile Farm and is especially entertaining to the young ones. I almost missed the event as I was wandering quite far away from the feasting venue till I heard (around 1057hrs) over the pa system that the event was coming up. I was running like mad to the feasting area and was lucky enough to snap the following for this post. Fed to the crocs were raw chickens hanging onto a rope.

Here's a bonus pic to lessen the horror you may have encountered from the above. It's called a Cassowary of New Guinea and feeds on fruits. It grows to almost the equivalent size of the Ostrich, with similar feet features.

Photo Shoot Outing

There were about 50 photographers (amateur & pro) all gathered at Jong's Crocodile Farm for a photo shoot today (I was one of the participants). It was my first outing with the group and as I have just signed up for membership with the Sarawak Photo-Art Society, I would be looking at more of such outings in the future. Posted herewith are some of my "FRUITS" for the day excluding a group photo which I do not possess. I will be adding in the group photo once I can get hold of it.

Crossed Path

Two trees that grew and joined together in the middle (I mean physically connected to each other, like siamese twins) forming an "X". Weird or awesome? Pic taken in Melbourne, of Jo examining the X-tree. Many newly-weds take their wedding photos under this tree!! Maybe it should be a Love-tree, and not an X-tree!

The Ballet Dancer

The flower (forgotten to take down the scientific name) that looks like a dancing ballerina. Shot taken at the Botanical Garden in Tasmania, Australia.

Car Show at tHe Spring

A Mitsuoka Convertible 2-seater... (unsuitable for our Malaysian climate), boasts a 1.8L DOHC engine. With the 1940's like formula machine styling, the Zero-1 series is rated very highly and received the Good Design Award in Japan as per their leaflet. The car is currently on display at tHe Spring (Kuching's newest Megamall) as there's a car show currently running.

SSPCA

BB and Mellow. Mellow was a not-so-nice-looking puppy (having a pink nose, she looks like a piglet) that my wife, Jo and I adopted from the Sarawak SPCA. She has blossomed into such a beauty.
